Hopefully a few Chelsea players pick up season ending injuries.

Madrid can do one, if they go out less money for them and hope them and Barcelona drown in debt. A few Chelsea broken legs would do no harm at all

Seems like the perfect platform for the pundits/commentators to discus the European Splitters League during quiet periods of the game.

Does it not help us if they win the thing?
Would that be 5th place gets Champions league?
If it is like that, I guess it’s preferable that Man City win it, but I am not sure. Madrid is actually the only team that are not bank rolled by billionaires to win it, but then they get helped out by their Government.
All crap ennit?

I've never understood why anyone would want any of the foreign teams to win over the English clubs.
Surely a Chelsea and Man City final would benefit us as they will be both concentrating on the final.

No.

Potentially harms us, if they win the thing and Chelsea finish outside the top 4.

I would not want Chelsea to win it again.
Another bit of history their glory hunters can cling onto.

Can’t say would support Man City but not fussed if they win it.

Mainly just enjoy watching the games.

I think we've discovered this week that given the chance our BRAND clubs would shit on the English game, you know the country that invented the fucking game......couldn't give a fuck about the backlash, had the deal been relatively well received they would have taken the mercenary route.

Re: Champions League tonight
Max of 5 teams in champions league.
It doesn’t drop to 5th if team inside top 4 wins it.
If winners are outside top 4 then 4th should still be fine. That is complicated abit if Arsenal
Win the Europa.

So basically we don’t want Arsenal to win.

Maybe I'm the only one on here who couldn't give a flying fuck about the CL?

Until West Ham get in, of course.

You are.

If an English team finishes in the top 4 and wins the Europa or Champions league, there are no extra places for English teams in Europe.

CL or bust.

If we qualify I would be a happy hammer.

What Chill said.

Success for British teams means they generate more revenue with which to strengthen. It is perverse and masochistic for West Ham fans to wish European success on our rivals.
